Transitional cell cancer of the renal pelvis and ureter is a cancer that forms in the cells that line the renal pelvis or ureter. The renal pelvis is the cavity in the middle of each kidney that collects the urine, and the ureter is the thin tube that goes from each kidney to the bladder.
